Building Linked Impact
#Reflections #ForwardLook #ClimateLeadership
β¨Amongst other fantastic opportunities #2024 was a great year for connecting with global leaders and building a deeper understanding of the linked climate problem space from the perspectives of #business, #government and #academia - unique to the built & natural environment/our places & spaces.
πThis included conversations on business issues, policy and legislative priorities and challenges on the practical uptake of cutting edge research in what is still considered an emerging area. It led to collaborative insight projects:
-creating culturally informed-inclusive databases on adaptation and resilience best practice
-re-shaping the future of work to be interdisciplinary and systems led
-re-visiting the importance of well-being KPIβs such as belonging in places/spaces for strategic leadership
-re-designing for nature-based solutions
π±It's now an exciting time #2025 is about building on these cross-perspective issues and improving levels of understanding across decision-makers, opportunity & access to #climatefinance and implementation/adoption of innovative #climatetech in the built environment.
